Children

Children's Ministry is a vital component in the spiritual development of children at Tintern.  But don't think that church is the place you go to have this important work done for you.  We seek to partner with and empower parents and families to work just as much (if not more!) in the spiritual development of their children.

Our children's ministry programming seeks to serve kids from birth up through grade 5.

Children's Ministry is a vital component in the spiritual development of children at Tintern.

We aim to teach our youngest children (birth through Kindergarten) that:
  • God made me
  • God loves me.
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
We aim to teach children in grades 1-5 that:
  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Mission Updates

  • Bible Day Camp Registration is OPEN

    June 10, 2019

It is that time of year again! Plans are well underway for another GREAT year of Tintern Bible Day Camp and registration is now open.

Come to Athens to learn about Paul's Dangerous Journey to Truth on July 1-5 from 9-11:30 am.

As you may remember, last year we made some changes to our program. As a reminder please note that:

    1. In accordance with the guidelines under the Child Care and Early Years Act registrations this year will be restricted to children born in 2014 and earlier (completed JK).

    2. In order to continue providing a quality program, all participants must be pre-registered (space will be limited). There will not be any registrations done at the door during the week.
